Quick sundresses before the summer ends

So I made my niece, Isabella, 3 sundresses for her 4th birthday. I found the tutorial on Noodlehead's blog here. Just needed a few measurements and a quick dig through my stash, and voila, 3 cute dresses for one cute little girl. I added a little tag in the back just for fun.




Since those turned out so well, I decided that I needed my own sundress. I found a cute sample dress made up at Bobbin's Nest Studio. I picked up some delicious polka dot fabric and elastic thread at Bobbin's Nest. The pattern was free on Heather Ross's blog, found here. I had the polka dot ribbon in my stash. It was super easy and I loved how the elastic thread gave the top a smocked look. I think there will be more sundresses in my future!

iPhone pouch

I also made a little pouch for my iPhone, though it's mostly used to hold my earbuds since I seem to always be playing around with my phone.

Kindle Kases

I recently purchased a Kindle. Totally LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. So naturally, I had to craft myself a cover for it. Made a few for some friends of mine who have a Kindle as well. Next I'm going to try making an iPad cover using the same general design.

Hip Hip Bag

Getting ready for my trip to Chicago and didn't want to lug my purse on my shoulder all week, so I made the modern version of a fanny pack, the hip bag. Added some bling last night with this awesome 'lil tool my sister got me called the BeJeweler. It hot glues real Swarovski crystals. I also made the belt it's attached. Can't wait stomp around the windy city with my new bag!

Bulletin Board

I finally got this done...had all the parts for a while, just had to run out for more rick rack to finish it up. I really like how it turned out. Now to hang it up!

Baby Quilt

Here's a super cute baby quilt I made for Sarah's little girl, Allison. Super soft minky on the back really makes it cozy.

My first doggie creation!

This weekend I made Dax a new harness that is waaaaay cooler than her old ruffled demin "skirt". Watch out, my dog WILL bite you, she's tough! hehe :P
